Bryce's Bio:

Bryce has been playing music off and on for most of his life. When he was about 5, he took part in a Kindermusic program that devoted itself to teaching kids more about music. It was there that he learned what a drumset was, and he had dreams of playing one ever since.

As he grew up, living with his single mother and grandparents, he experimented on a really old made-in-the-'80s keyboard, owned by his grandma. He picked up an instructional book and taught himself "The Star Spangled Banner", along with a few christmas songs.

His mother married when he was in the 1st grade, and in the third grade he legally changed his last name to Hanson in order to fit in with the rest of his family. After third grade, he, his mom, and his stepdad moved to Loveland, Colorado.

The 6th grade introduced Concert Band as a middle school class, but Bryce was not able to be a percussionist because he had not taken 2 years of piano lessons. Originally hoping to play saxophone, he changed his mind and chose the French Horn in order to give a sense of variety to the band...
